    Default That's more like it...

Finally got to pull the trigger on something. I feel like life has returned to normal. Went out to shoot some dubs this morning. Headed to my normal spot on the river and someone was there, so we went to another spot that I've always wanted to hunt and just never have. 'Twas a good choice. From 7:15 - @8:30 I killed 26 doves(2 or 3 doubles and a triple thrown in there). 19 were ECD's, so I might go out again this afternoon to finish out my limit.

Thanks guys. My buddy ran out of shells, so he started shooting the camera. Here's a video of a double and the retrieves.

I know it looks like I'm shooting right at the road on that second bird, but the angle of the video is deceiving.

Some damn boom-scouters rode up while we were shooting yesterday morning and watched us for a while. Got there early this morning just because of that. They were there at 6:15 already(about 45 minutes before you should have to be in a dove spot) and had parked their damn truck right where we were sitting yesterday and shot from the back of their truck. We made a move or two and I ended up with 12(picked up 10). Shot like hell, but it was still an alright morning. Here's a few more photos from today.
