Just from picture I am having a hard time even identifying the snake.Mutch bull defacation on this Florida stunt as usual.I caught 5 footers in Fla that were massive.Weight 10-12 lbs.---I will offer $2000.00 for a 7 footer-come take my money!

I killed a cottonmouth in my front yard last Sunday that measured 3'6" inches. Made me very uncomfortable since my 16 month old was out playing 10 minutes before I saw it. Anyways, it peeked my interest as to what the record size was, so I looked it up. I found this same picture in a different article. The article I found came with someone who disagrees with the measurements of this snake. I'm familiar enough with snakes to ID any that are common to this area, but no expert by any means. Here's the article I found disagreeing with the size....
