    Post up if you got a band (or more) this season and post up as much info. on it as you can. If you need to report your band (or bands) you can go here: http://www.reportband.gov/

    Mine:

    1 Northern Pintail drake
    Banded 9/17/1996 10 miles NW of Badger, MN
    Recovered 1/23/2008 8 miles NE of McClellanville, SC

    Comments: 1st federal band in nearly 25 years of duck hunting.

    wood duck drake
    banded 8/05/2004 in alberta, New Brunswick
    killed 11/23/07 2 miles north of mullins, sc

    buddy killed 2 wood duck drakes
    one banded in New Brunswick as well, the other in Ohio..

    Aucs, yours arent the only federal bands taken on wood ducks in that area...I know of several guys that harvest Federally banded woodies around there.

    It appears like we should be putting wood duck boxes in Alberta instead of Hickory Top...

    Killed in Private beaver swamp of NC

    wood duck banded at SNWR- 05.
    Killed on the river bank- thanksgiving 07.

    gwt- banded in MD 06
    killed in orangeburg co.SC 08.

    13th federal duck band.
    Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

    All three banded 2 miles from where they were killed 17 - 19 days before. Near Vawn Sask.

    Killed -- Eyak River, Cordova, Alaska

    Federal Band. Called it in back in November. Haven't heard a word since!
    Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL

    RingKing go the the USF&W website and you can find out the year and place it was banded in about 5 min.

    banded 2/8/07 in SC (all it said online was SC, so I guess I'll see where when the cert. comes but I'm sure it was banded right there at SCR)

    Drake mallard banded in Sept' 07 in Ontario. Killed in Upstate in December.

    triple banded pigeon aug 06 shot in sept 07.

    second...what was the # on the red 864 band? I killed one with a red band with an 864 # on it the first weekend in December.
