    Herman C. Phelps WMA was really good last year. Minimal crowds and we shot limits a lot of days. You can walk in or boat depending on the area you hunt. You have to call the wildlife office and ask for a map though bc it's new as of last year.

    Bayou Meto would be the safest, easiest, and best route to take

    I think its hiliarious how they hate you guys. We hunted a private field once and some guys stopped by on their way to the adjoining pit. Took one look at our license plates and said "at least they aint from South Carolina". The land owner told us we should probably back in to park since our plates had the word Carolina in it.
