Speaking for Federal, they are a 10 ply 60,000 mile tire. My buddy bought the first set I ever sold and his truck stays in the wind. They are as quiet as the day he put them on.

It's a mud tire, aggressive at that so yeah it won't be as quiet as a Michelin Primacy highway tread.

If you keep the air pressure right in them, keep them rotated you will be fine. That prevents the tire from "cupping" ! Cupping is the noise you hear from tires.....

So in closing, a 60k 10 ply mud tire depending on size mounted and balanced for 750.00, you can't go wrong!
Thank you sir, that is exactly the info I wanted. As for cupping that has been a problem with this truck, on 3rd set of balls joints at 122kmi (disclaimer I did live in MT for while and drove dirt roads like they were interstates). If I keep this truck for a hunting/work rig I will probably come see you this winter because that is a helluva deal, esp on a 10ply tire.
