    It so fucking wet:

I haven't been able to use my reel mower on the lawn due to high grass. I had to pay someone for the first time in my life to mow my grass. I feel dirty and useless.

I have never seen this much water in my life! It's rained at the house everyday for the last 10 days. And it ain't sprinkling, it's like pouring piss out of a boot!

I spent most of the afternoon pulling boards out of a couple spillways today. Water level was floating through my duck boxes that are usually 2 ft out of the water

Damn...I haven't given that much thought lately. I need to ride to cabin and check out our pond. We don't have an adjustable spillway and I've never seen the water go around the run off but I'm not curious.

I was able to beat the afternoon storm to the house this afternoon and was able to get my grass cut....and even had time to weedeat.

Then, I borrowed some dirt from some high spots and filled in some low spots.

If the rain will hold out tomorrow and the weekend, I will be cutting some concrete out of the drive way and putting in a french drain, to allow the front yard to drain. I actually bogged down my riding mower in it this afternoon.

My french drains have been running overtime since my neighbors are clogged. Am thankful I could finally cut the yard though.
