All breed boarding for indoor and outdoor pets. All breeds and sizes of dogs are welcome. Seperate boarding area for cats. A great, worry free place to keep your pets while on vacation or any other time you are out of town.
Retriever training is available for all breeds. Training can be done for gun dog and hunt tests. We are located within 10 miles of the best retriever training grounds in the country (H. Cooper Black Field Trial Area) which is open to the public and can be rented by the day. We also have access to hundreds of acres of fields and multiple ponds within a couple minutes drive of the kennel. A 25 acre field and small technical pond on site at the kennel is also available. This training will be done on a month to month basis. Duration will be determined by the owner with consideration of how far they want their retriever to go in training. A basic gun dog course will consist of a 3 month course that will include basic obedience, single and multiple retrieves, delivering to hand, retrieves off of dog stands/blinds, and introduction to decoys/hunting scenarios.
Pet obedience training is a 4-6 week course that teaches basic obedience and is one fixed rate.
Facility:
175 outdoor, covered kennels for medium and large breed dogs. Kennel yards are enclosed for your pets safety and for their convenience to exercise and take a break in. There will always be room for your pet/working dog if needed. Baths and other grooming needs are available for an additional fee. Full time kennel staff for feeding and cleaning of kennels. Owner lives on site.

Owner/Trainer info:
10+ years experience in retriever training (gun dog and hunt test), 8 years as a Veterinary technician in state of SC, 5 years in detection K9 training, and 3 years in Kennel Management of a facility that at times has held 200+ dogs.

We are located just outside of the town of Hartsville, SC in an area known as Byrdtown. We are located 30 minutes from Camden and Florence. Just over an hour from Columbia and an hour and a half from Charlotte. For those that live in the Charlotte/Rock Hill/Fort Mill area, we are conveniently located on the main route to the Myrtle Beach area, just off highway 151 before you get to Darlington.

From Florence/I95- Take Exit 164/US-52 to Hwy 151 in Darlington. Take Hwy 151 to Hwy 151 Bypass into Hartsville. Turn right on Hwy 15 bypass towards Society Hill/Bennetsville. Turn right at stop sign next to Emmanual Baptist Church. Take the next left on Rolling Rd. At the second stop sign turn left onto Antioch Rd. Make your next right onto Spring Valley Rd. Ahead on the left you will see a sign for Bay Creek on your left.
From Columbia/ I20- Take exit 116/Hwy 15 towards Bishopville. This will take you all the way into Hartsville. After passing through town and going over lake Prestwood you will take a left at the second stop light Patrick Hwy/Hwy 102. Drive 3.6 miles and turn right on Spring Valley Rd. Ahead you will see a sign for Bay Creek on your right.
