I had a button buck do the same thing to me before the season in Laurens on the Reedy River. How do you upload a video?

It was raised as a pet and released later. It found a neighbors flower garden and she removed the collar then called DNR. They tranquilized it and move it to Bazen or Bluff Landing on the Pee Dee. The owner has looked for deer but not found Johnnie.

It visited my house and here are some pics.

If this is the same deer then DNR lied about where they released it...

Doesn't Bazen Road landing border the Pee Dee WMA?

Who ever picked up that fawn out of the wild and tamed it are the ones who signed it's death warrant.

Agree. Wild critters should be just that. Wild. Any attempt to take, domesticate etc should be met with a swift kick in the cherries.

    Yeah
“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. It has a tang and spirit shared by no other sport—a philosophy compounded of sleet, the winnow of unseen wings, and the reeks of marsh mud and wet wool. No other sport has so many theories, legends, casehardened disciples and treasured memories.”
