Anything <600degF is useless when cooking a steak.

I cooked a prime rib on mine and it was excellent. Not exactly what you were going for but as close as you can get on the O I believe. I cannot imagine steaks turning out too well.

    Prayers sent indeed.

This is NOT the appliance for a thinner cut of meat that should be served seared and raw on the inside. If you were talking about prime rib, well yeah - then it might do - but not for your run of the mill ribeye.

Yeah thats what I thought, didnt know if anyone had tried it. Personally I like my steak over hot coals just enough to sear the outside. I like it warm and red on the inside. Unfortunately my co-workers don't they like it like a friggin army combat boot.

I have made "Dirty Steak" numerous times out camping, I like it like that 2-3 min each side directly on the coals.

It doesnt say much for your fancy cooker when this is a better solution to your needs.

Why would i walk UP HILL, away from the stadium? who does that?

you could pack a little to-go box and deliver it to Lot 2. You have to come this way anyway? WE HAVE THE STADIUM OVER HERE!

EDIT: I guess I know there will be no need for a steak knife if you do bring the Orion. It don't do that!

Go buy you a little cheap charcoal grill from wally world. Use it once or twice and throw it away. All they are good for is one or two grillings anyway or you can just go get the real deal and get you a Weber.

That would be my suggestion, bought one for about $10 at a Wal-Mart in ND earlier this year.

I aint lazy, just stuck up

I didnt pay Lot 2 rent to walk my azz all over Pickens county on a hot Saturday.

Just roll yo' azz down that big hill with a to-go box and I will have a beer, TV and a lounge chair for you to catch your breath in until its time to walk in the game.

See, I am a problem solver.

    Everybody wins
