It will be here before you know it. Hopefully...all the jakes I saw last year have finally become men!

I pretty much stay ready for turkey sesson to get here. Two weeks ago while sitting in a deer stand I had 9 longbeards and 13 jakes walk by within 40 yards and feed in the field I was watching. Made me want to strut a little my own self.

Working duck hunting on the Santee River last week as the sun came up and the shooting started there were 3 gobblers in different areas and when the guns went "BOOM!!" the toms thundered back- God was in His Heaven and all was right with the world

Have heard the boys talking several times this fall during morning deer hunts. Not even three months to go.

I hope I am wrong but we could be in for a dissapointing season. Went duck hunting yesterday and heard 9 diffrent birds gobbling. Hens were yelping and they were gobbling. I just hope we can get another cold snap or they might be strutted out.

I saw a big gobbler Saturday with a bunch of hens. Usually this time of year you don't see the gobblers hanging out with the hens, at least from what I've noticed. He was also in a half strutt.

saw 4 gobblers together about a week and a half ago while i was sittin' in a tree. One of the birds kept coming in and out of full strut while he was constantly cutting circles around one of the other gobblers. Also watched those two birds spar a few times.

I killed my first one last year and I am jacked about this year. We had some friends down from Ar, this guy strutted in and I let my buddy have him. After he emptied his gun, I dropped him runnin. I cant wait to get out there and try to repeat the process. Sorry about the size.
