    Default Suunto watches?

Anybody got an opinion or experience with the Suunto Core Military watch?

    Thanks

A good friend of mine has had two... because one broke. He went round and round with customer service... then he happened upon one of the higher up's email address and sent a nice email detailing his issue and received a brand new top of the line model in the mail FOR FREE.

My Brother also has one. He likes his a lot... no problems with it. I will probaly get one when my Luminox craps out.... I have several Sunnto compasses and they have been great.

I looked at 'em and couldn't justify it for a lot of features I'd never use. I ended up getting a nice but simple Luminox when I had a window of opportunity to get it for 65% off.

I used one on my sheep hunt because of te Altimeter. It has way more features than I know how to use. Good watch.

Odd. I don't remember making this post. I must have been drinking; spelling flaws are not very common.

I still stand by the advice, sober or not.

A very European flair using the "re" spelling of fiber, must have been drinking imported.

I really want the SUUNTO tide watch; however, I have been wearing my Krieger Tide Watch for about 18 years and it would be hard to give up. My dress watch is the size of the SUUNTO and most everyone gives me crap about how big it is whne I wear it and the truth is that large case does play hell wearing dress shirts. So I guess I am stuck with my Krieger for a bit longer. But the minute this baby fails me, I am on that SUUNTO tide watch. MG

If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.
