A buddy of mine has one and the steering is hard as hell. Don't know if they are all like that, but he said it has been like that since new. Other than that, it is what it is.
I bought one last year or so from L C B on here. It's the 4wd drive one so it doesn't turn on a dime, but we haven't had any problems with it. I put in batteries a year later (which I knew we would when I bought it) they were around 120 a piece, and I had to buy eight. I can see it being used more for hunting, but I'm normally in the Polaris. That BadBoy is quiet though, kinda want to build a blind on it..

How long before having to recharge normally. I like that set up as I have 3 boys and can easily get all of them on that vs a Polaris.
2th had a bad boy and had nothing but problems, got rid of it. He has a Ruff N' Tuff cart now and no real problems except the batteries have gone bad. Just replaced them and good as new. On a full charge on good batteries you can probably go a couple miles depending on the terrain and how muddy it is.
2th has WAY more problems than a Bad Boy Buggie, but I digress.
Electric buggies require a certain mindset and some education... neither of which toofers is capable of.
The newer BBBs are nice. These buggies have come a long way. The ONLY way to go anymore is AC motors and reputable batteries. Thank me later.
Honestly I have no clue. It doesn't leave the property, and we try to keep low pressure on the roads. It wasn't my first choice for an atv, but along with having the Polaris they complement each other well. The newer 900 Polaris Rangers are derned nice (that's an older 700), the engine is farther back so less noise and less heat seeping up to your legs. The BBB is just so quiet though. My mother has been photographing wildlife for a long time, and the BBB fits her needs.
My son shoots on a youth sporting clays shooting team. These shoots typically have 300-400 competitors. Most of them have some sort of transportation for use on the range. You see everything from ATV's to golf carts, to buggy's of all sorts. Since I am also in the market for one of these contraptions, I have been asking around quite a bit. From what I can tell so far, the Bad Boy Buggy doesn't have that great of a reputation. Lot's of TV hype is what I am hearing, but not too hot on the performance for the dollar. The Polaris Ranger seems to the the one that folks like and want.
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.

Tom, I have been doing a lot of research on these and I think I am going to pass on em. Their website says 40 miles for a new one but I have talked to a couple of people who says no way in hell. I am guessing 10-15 per charge. Also I hear the batteries are a pain out in the woods and cost a small fortune to replace.
CWP, who does your kid shoot with? my daughter is shooting with her HS team. i just ordered a souped up golf cart for that same reason. i put just about everything i could on it and it's still a hell of a lot cheaper than a BBB and i have a Honda for the really nasty stuff. from the reputation that BBB has, it doesn't appear worth it.
