Spent the weekend at the Farm and managed to catch fish back in the swamp. Tried to put a little dent in the mudfish popualtion too.

I told your ass to cancel the trip and meet me there. It would have been a lot easier to drive 40 minutes then go all the way to DC!

I know alot of old men that swear the back meat on mudfish is fit for a king. But you have to eat it fresh out the cooker or the meat will turn mush. Those who live across the railroad tracks love them
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

They are okay if and only if you clean and fry him as soon as you catch him.....After a few hours, the meat gets mushy......I used to eat them all the time when I was younger...

I give the mudfish to a fella that lives down the road. He said he gets excited every time he sees my truck go down the road because he knows he will get some fish that weekend. He swears by them and I promised him that the next time I go down there I am going to have him cook me some.

I gave a fellow from the other side of the tracks some shad one time (gizzards)that were left in my bait tank from stripper fishing. He said it don't matter fish is fish and eat the hell out of them. Even ask for some more.
