I need some help. im taking my boss fishing this afternoon on the mighty cooper and have been striking out lately catching fish with any size to them. never have really fished public water until this year, so where to go to get decent shellcracker/bream has eluded me thus far. im not looking for anyones hole, just a relative idea as a starting point, other than "the water". i have been going off of durham creek and farm creek catching small fish, and i understand if no one wants to share info...but i appreciate it either way. thanks yall.

The bream pushed out a little deeper, I'd try them in about 5-6ft of water. Couldn't see em so cna't tell you for sho. Bass on the other hand are still shallow. 1-4 ft of water with a floating worm around the cuts into ricefields and along the grass inside the fields. The bigger ones were in as little as 6 to 8 inches of water last night. Water is real clear so you'll probably have to stay a good bit off of em. Good luck
