Motor issue

Ok so on the run this morning down at any amount of throttle it would just rev up for a sec and stop. Eventually just started running good. Then get ready to head back and motor at whatever throttle just sounds bogged down. Every once
in a while just revs up for a sec from the bog then bogs right back down. Take it from under load and it will rev up just fine out of gear. Put it back in gear and just bogs back down. Anyone got any thoughts?

my yamaha was doing shit like that awhile ago and it was a burnt water pump, everytime id get going good it would bog right down or it may be the carb jet is clogged

Ok gonna check that out. Didn't figure one clogged carb would bog the thing down to like 5 mph but then again all 3 may be

my buddies 40 had one clog bad and couldnt get that bitch to go anywhere it would cut off as soon as he gassed it

That inline 6 has some serious probs with carbs and this new ethonal gas I suggest that when you get tot he ramp unhook the line and leave it running on the trailer int he water till it shuts down from not having any fuel left inthe bowls of the carbs or this will be happening a lot

with that said those inlines need to have the water pump changed every year even if its peeing they were bad about not suppling enough presurre to the top and you cold be scourching a cylinder
