Heading to the lake for a little bowfishing Friday evening. Haven't been in many years and, with the overall water level down, I'm sure the old haunts are high and dry. Any general suggestions or locations where you guys have seen or shot fish recently? Figured with the water up 3' or so in the last month that the new vegetation (willows, dog fennel, etc) might be hiding a few gar/carp.

    thx

Only ended up boating one fish but it was a wopper. Nice night - missed a few others and had a few good fish get away.

I'll try to post up a few pics after lunch.

Anybody fish the striper tourney? There were a bunch of boats on the lake.

lol that is a big ass carp. Had a buddy snatch hook one in the river one time about that size. Treble hook caught him right in the side and he was in for a hell of a fight lol For awhile after that we called my buddy snatch-hook lol

After he showed off the fish a bit he gave it to some 's
