Strapping down the boat Saturday morning when another group rolls in. Guy grabbing the truck comes over and ask about our morning. He is about mid forties with shinny new truck and boat....I am cordial but less than informative. He is nice enough so I ask how he did. He immediately volunteers his exact location and says they got one. I inquire as to the species and he says " not sure either a coot or blue bill". I then ask where is it to try a help them out a bit being that they are clearly new to the game. He then says they left it at the hole because they weren't sure if it was legal to possess! Wtf man? ...I didn't say another word to the moron... I should've called the law...I mean seriously how does someone make it so far in life and manage to be successful enough to acquire nice things and still be so fn stupid. I know they had a smart phone. Google it man...don't just say fuc it..the real sad thing is there were two of them

I once thought the limit of pintails was 2 a piece (1 at the time) and killed 16. It happens.
