    Congrats none the less.
Were you jiggin weed beds or fishing docks?
During the early teal season, we were seeing them in 2-3ft of water, tearing the surface up at daylight.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Slappy, I am not much of a crappie fisherman. Do you have any suggestions for fishing during Nov and Dec? I mostly fish on Wateree.

    Gray Ghost,

I've never fished Wateree, but I would try trollin some jigs tipped with minnows early mornin real slow in the coves and adjacent creek channels or better yet push the jigs from the front of the boat (spider rig). If you already know where the fish are I would set up on em and fish minnows under slip corks.
    Good luck.

Thank you Slappy. Any ideas on how deep they should be this time of year?

I aint no expert but I dont think there gonna be very deep. I would try trollin in water less than 15' deep and start out with your bait down about 8' but that all depends on the lake and water temp really. If you don't catch any that way try brush piles in 15' to 20' and fish the top of the brush. If no luck that way go shallower and fish grass lines with jigs.
