    Took two adept hunters with me this evening, one a member of this site. Said member killed a nice 8, and the other guy arrowed his 1st buck in a number of years under the acorns at 5:00.

    Damn if I don't love deer huntin' .

    I hate to be the one to tell you Tater, but that particular breed was bred strictly for looks with no regard for hunting ability. I know you may already be attached to your loyal gator dog, but the easiest thing would to do would to take him back and get a black one. I've heard that particular color can't even skin a deer, much less make sausage!

    By the way, if it has any Chessie in it, its gonna bite you!

    Ain't seen no curlycoated gators here just the straight haired.You should see him prancin when it gets frosty.You are right though,he has trouble findin the eatin trough. [img]graemlins/confused.gif[/img] You reckon it's the same as they done to setters?
