    Default Springfield/Blackville area pig processing?

Anyone know who does them. Just rolled one, first pig that's been seen in 5 years here.

I usually go to Phillips, but not sure if they do pigs too.

We take ours to Augusta. I'm not sure there is anyone nearby that does them. I know Phillips does not. There is a guy I think in the Aiken area that does them. I had a card for him, let me see if I can find it.

That's probably the closest I'm aware of.

    (803) 649-9683 - Not sure if they take pigs, but they are on 301 just past couchton from springfield.

Dougs meat market in Augusta is the best and most affordable BY FAR that I have used. Hard to tell that the sausage is from a wild hog except that it is lean. It is the best that I have tasted. His price a couple of years ago for a 200lb or less hog was $65 and that included everything (including cleaning) except that link sausage was a few dollars more. Cut anyway that you want. The only negative is that it is wrapped with freezer paper. It is worth the drive.

If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.
