Silent. I wish Dnr would bring in some good or better genetic deer and make it a sustained effort to better the general population. Some may say that the population is fine as it is since it evolved that way. Not me. What was done was illegal.

I agree with the nutrition and age.

And agreed rebelyeller it was trending that way for some time. But the you say inspire I can list at least 2 examples I know of who are down to 2 tags and all but crying. They know they can't legally shoot but one more and it is killing them.
They both individuals have passed numerous small bucks that normally would have been blasted but due to the tags they had to hit the brakes.
So now that this is happening an I'm sure there are many others just like them it will. E interesting in 3-4 years. I predict we will be amazed what sc actually can produce.

I hate the tag crap, but to be honest, hated seeing deer meat thrown out by people that shot everything in sight. Seen it to many times. They were all about the kill and would start over every year. Those that process their own will still kill what they want.
