Never hunted that part of KS. Anybody have any knowledge about turkey populations in that part of the state?? Land that I have an opportunity to hunt does have a river running thru it, so I figure it would probably be worth a shot.

Crops are harvested, animals are killed.
If it has tress it probably has turkeys.

maybe you could ask the landowner if he has turkeys? Most of them are pretty smart and can tell you.
I mean....its just an idea.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him
He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

That could be a problem. I assume you are going to fly, and my reaping rig is too big to take on a commercial flight. After seeing the effectiveness of a simple fan, I expanded on the idea, and now I have what can only be called a mirrorleafed R/C reaper guillotine system. It is a mojo Scoot n shoot, surrounded by mirrors, with a leafy hood built onto the back. The entire system is built on top of an amphibious remote controlled car that has a foxpro caller embedded. The turkeys come to inspect the challenger and the calling, then they see their reflection in the mirror, which confuses them. As they peck at their reflection the wings become guillotines and chop their heads off.
The issue is that it requires a trailer to transport, but the thunderchickens are DRT/can'tstoptheflop/gotitdone
