So, this is either an incredible mistake by Las Vegas (see money making opportunity), or a lot of overconfidence by the Gamecock football faithful. I live in Columbia and listen to 107.5. They actually do a very good job, and even as a Clemson fan, I can admit that hey are far better than local Clemson sports radio.
However, the baseline for SC’s season seems to be 9 wins with a chance at 10/11, according to the talking heads/callers. Vegas, however, still has the SC win total at 7. What am I missing? I have seen the schedule, and it seems about as forgiving as an SEC schedule could be. SC would have to go off the rails to win less than 7, so this seems like one hell of a bet to make.
Let’s say SC loses to FL, UGA, Clemson and AtM. They still have 3 cupcakes, Vandy, Ole Miss, Tenn, KY to win. You would think ATM and FL are coin flips. Seems like a no brainer to me
