Man a storm just rolled in here and it is pitch black outside. Thunder is rolling steady too. This is going to be a good one. We been getting one of these about every other evening for a month now.
Thunder, wind, lightning, hail and gully washer rains!
I've had my power knocked off 5 times already this year. Probably fixing to happen again here in a minute.

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

Got that one last night and I hear another one coming now. It's almost every day here.

We got maybe around an inch here.. maybe I haven't checked any gauges yet. All of our corn is gone except in one small plot. It's been a while since I've seen it like this.

“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. It has a tang and spirit shared by no other sport—a philosophy compounded of sleet, the winnow of unseen wings, and the reeks of marsh mud and wet wool. No other sport has so many theories, legends, casehardened disciples and treasured memories.”
--John Madson, The Mallard, 1960
"Never trust a duck hunter who cares more about his success than his dog's."
