My thoughts exactly JAB. I figure, i'll never retire, always work doing something. Rather have boats, guns now and be able to use em than to save and save and then be too out of health to enjoy it.

"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.

Great pics!
Both of them are great but if the second one would have been out of a wooden blind it would have took it all.....good stuff.
I wish I could breathe life back in him, if I could I'd hunt him again tomorrow. - Ben Rodgers Lee

I agree with CC, if that second blind would have been an older wooden blind it would been over the top! Both are great shots!

That looks more like the Remington Model 11 looking at the unribbed barrel and square grip on the stock.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

My hunting partner and me took our Grandad's double barrels that was passed down to us on wood duck shoot. (There was a third shooter involved so we were legal.) Mine is a 12 ga Fox and his was a 20 ga Ithaca. Fun times!

Oh and Splash THANK YOU!
You've got one life. Blaze on!
What year did the Belgian made A5's get the knob on the grip. Late 50's? Good to see the old girl still knocking them down either way. My first gun was a Model 11 that looked exactly like that, the only difference might have been the checkering.
