First hunt since Labor Day
We hunted about 2 hours and ended up with one good spotted boar hog in the 275-300lbs range. Unfortunately he was in some planted pines and thick briars and both video cameras malfunctioned and missed the action. Cutters were probably around 1.5 inches.

Damn, that's a beast! Saw one approx. that size Thursday night and I had to convince my daughter why I didn't want to shoot it. She could not understand why I could not get it in the truck by myself......

Nice boar!
Don't believe the stories that a big-sacked boar doesn't taste good. I soaked mine on ice for 7 days and the first batch was excellent. Even my finicky daughter liked the pulled pork.
He smelled gamey but he tastes tamie.

You should get a game violation ticket for not killing or at least wounding swine..
