It doesn't matter when they show. the mud motors will run them off. I own one and know how badly you can screw up a spot with just 1 trip through. I watched about a dozen race up and down the river this wkend. most had the super duper loud muffler. sounded like a bunch of harleys. I'm just selling my boat and take a few trips a year.
