    short tail faster, turns better and easyer to run

    personally, i miss my longtail, a little slower, but for what i do, it was perfect

    longtail, slower, but you can torque it down to help lift the back end of your boat outta some serious chit.

    id prob buy a prodrive if i were to buy a mudmotor tomorrow.

    Drive both where you spend 90% of your time, then decie for yourself. I like my shorttail and would never go back to a longtail, but PhoneMan really would go back to his long tail. His in timber and stumps with less big water and shorter runs, where as I ussualy have longer runs across open water. A long tail takes sometime to get used to also!

    shorttail easier to drive when going threw stumps or tember.

    ha ha bring it!!!! I stress timber as in top of pine island through indigo or back to mill creek, not the main creeks.

    Had a long tail, it was a love hate relationship. No reverse and no neutral sucked, I could go through about anything ... Just not very fast. I got rid of it and went back to outboards and ill prolly never get another mm.

    my rig is sweet, but a little big for what i need. If i can sell it, i'm gonna get me a small 12-14 foot rig with a 23 LT.

    if u like the way ur shoulder feels then dont go with a LT cause it wont feel good for long if u drive like i do
