Up in charlotte for training for a few days, wondering if anyone know somewhere I can go a throw a line, near south park.

Not much chance of that in that area, drive out toward Gastonia and that area might be able to find something. Sorry for the lack of help, but don't spend time in that area looking for fish. Make sure you got your NC licenses!!

Lake Norman or the rivers below it. $10 for a two week out of state fishing license.

if you don't have a boat, you can join those on the banks in belmont.....down 85 at the exit for shooter's express there are some trails to the river
