    Default Saturday's report

Killed 218 birds between 26 people, killed 2 bands. Most limited out and watched the kids for awhile. Had browntop and bushhogged corn. Hardly any of the birds went to the food, They were all over the clearcut beside it.

Went to another spot Monday over browntop and shot for an hour and scratched out a limit. Hundreds of birds poured in after 5:30. Its going to be a good year if they stick around for awhile.

Had 3 good days in a row. Had to do the usual work on opening day but hit them Sunday afternoon. Took Hank out to the small field near the house and picked up 8 birds in an hour and a half. Monday went to buddys field right outside of town in Greenwood and picked up a limit in about two hours. Yesterday shot one the best fields Ive ever been on. Birds were coming in in groups of 20-30 at some points and several times there were 2-3 groups this big trying to come in at the same time . We started shooting at 4:00 and I was done and picking up hulls at 4:45. Took Hank over let him finish picking up a father and sons limit, he was happy but extremely tired. Everyone one was done around 6:00 and boy did the birds come in after that.
