2005 GMC Sierra 4x4 dash light problem

Question - I have the said truck and the dash lights and the radio lights went out yesterday and have not come back on -
Do you think this is something simple like a fuse?

Not being funny but make sure the dimmer is not turned down all the way. If not ck fuses.

I just drove to lunch and the dang things were working -??????????????
This is the second time it has done this - it 's ok in the daylight but it sure makes it hard to see what is going on with your dashboard at night -
The first time they were off for a day this trip two days ?

i have had the same problem with my truck. what i did was spray some lub. on the door hinges, and on the sensor on the inside of the door and it stopped doing it

nevermind, miss read, i thought you said the inside light stayed on. long spring practice today !!
