    In the first major ripple of college football's national signing day, C.J. Spiller, the nation's No. 4 running back and No. 16 overall prospect according to Scout.com, stunned many in his hometown of Lake Butler, Fla., by announcing Wednesday morning he'll leave the state and sign with Clemson.
