Anyone who is familiar with high tides know what size gas tank would have been original with a 15’3. It’s an odd spot and I haven’t seen a 6 gallon that will fit. The 3 gallon is way to small.

Another option could be to just use a heat gun on a new 6 gal, re-form it, and strap it in.
I have a 12 gallon cube shaped tank in that location of mine.

I used the mercury 5 or 6 gallon back when I had mine. Plastic with large T handle on top to wrap hose around
I never had a problem with mine. My 6 gallon extended over the bilge but that wasnt a problem for me. I even went to a 12 gallon cube and it wasnt an issue.
Does yours have a seat that you can remove?

It’s a stick steer in the front so it has a bench seat in the back. The spot it 20x 11 where the tank sits
I used either 6 or 9 gal tank in that location in all of my HTs with the Chas bench.
