    Default the last cold front

I had a fair amount of big ducks for this time of year on one of our ponds as of 10 days ago. Well i went back just to video them before the season only to see some ringnecks and a few teal and woodies. There is plenty of food in the pond so i know thats not why they left. Has anyone else seen a decline in their number of birds this week. I was hoping that this last cold front would be pushing a lot of ducks down, but if it did they by passed my land. I just hope some more will show up before the end of the week.

They are doing what ducks - at least what they used to do - move arorund - it has been beat into peoples' heads that a duck will sit in the same place as long as he's not disturbed - which is bs - ducks move around just like people do - if for no other reason just stretch their wings.
You were probably seeing wilds birds beleive it or not - not the ones that sit and wait on the food bucket to come around.

I've been holding a large number of ducks for the last two weeks... I'm hoping the stay for a least 4 more days. This is the most I've seen this early in 5-6 years.
