    Default Tacoma Project

Not sure if this should be in TP or not, I might update it when I get stuff done it so I put it here. I bought a 2006 Tacoma for a project. Some of the cosmetic things I need are an ARB front bumper, rear bumper (open to oem or a steel bumper with tire swing out), fender flares, and I’d like some oem wheels someone took off when they upgraded.

Anyone here have any of those items laying around?

It turned out decent. Shoutout to Beanhunter for the wheels.

What is the motive for putting the spare on the back? Hard to get to in an off-road situation or maybe you have 2 spares? Just curious

Full size spare, easier to get too, looks better (to me at least). This truck will be a hunting truck when I'm hunting within SC/NC, hauling dogs around up here, and a grocery getter/Lowes run truck. I only go off-road if I have to get something on the other side. Aside from that, this or my 2003 Land Cruiser will be my son's first vehicle when he can drive in a few years.

Does the soft topper make much noise?

Surprisingly, I haven’t noticed any noise and even commented on it after driving it over 50 the first time.
