    Default Vehicle That's Been Sitting

Got dibs on a little truck that's been sitting for almost two years. Was running fine before parked. Besides changing battery & draining old gas/oil, anything else need to be done before start up is attempted?

    Fog the cylinders

What engine? If you can mechanically prime the oil pump that would be a good idea. Check wiring good for rodent damage.

Two years really isn't that long. Battery, pull the coil wire to the distributor, roll it over a few times to get the oil and fuel primed, check the fluids, and go. I wouldn't change the oil until you let it heat cycle once. Maybe throw a jerry can of fresh gas in. Once you confirm it runs, then go down the road of tuning up.

2 years down. Charge the battery and change the fuel. I would pull the plugs and squirt a little oil in each cylinder and spin it over then replace the plugs. Fire it up and go.
