He sure has some things to say of late about his C19 and Booster experience.

What ever side of the debate you're on the one puzzling thing too me is that folks that got the original strain ran out and got the vaccine after that?

You wouldn't get the flu vaccine after getting the flu in the same year??

Now perhaps you can make an argument for the variant boosters or what not, and again I'm not on either side just making an observation.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

You should and it would still be recommend that you get the flu shot. You would still have coverage from the vaccine even after getting the flu that year.

i think you missed his point.
if you got the flu why would you need the vaccine for the same flu? your body made the same antibodies it would had you gotten the vaccine.
he is only talking about early 2020 (pre-vaccine). people that had covid did not need the vaccine. granted, I'm sure there are 1000 articles on the google that say otherwise.
    I agree with him.

From a medical stand point that’s not correct. In the same year we have flu A and Flu B. If you got Flu A those antibodies are not going to protect you from b. The shot would however.

You're actually making my point. The original vaccine targeted the original wuflu, not any of the variants. So if you got the original, why would you run out and get a vaccine that can never match what your body just stored in its encyclopedia of antibody making ability.

And I do take exception with your comment that some how the Flu shot will give you protection against both A & B. It is always a guessing game as to actually getting the right strain, and most of the time they they get one or the other and sometimes both wrong.

the flu a person gets is far smarter than the guesses in the vaccine.

Would a doctor still "suggest" you get a flu vaccine? probably.
would my brain allow me to get one at that point? hell no.
