The effort was monumental, but fruitless.

Some closure for her family and friends sure would be nice...
She used to babysit me. I grew up around the corner from her (and this guy)

    Same here

Can not imagine what her family has had to deal with for all these years

As far as this raid. May guess is something pretty bad for them to go to that extreme

Hope he doesn't kill himself before he spends some time in a cage with Bubba.....

Maybe if he does, he botches it and ends up drooling on himself for a loooooooooooooong time.

And we pay for 30 years of life support? No thanks. It would suit me fine if he just assumes room temperature today.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

Not if he's out on personal recognizance. His insurance or family will foot the bill.

    If not...

We waste a lot of money. If this asshole has a glimmer of self awareness down in that mess he made of himself and knows he is shitting his pants and drooling on himself I'd consider it money well spent.

DD is the most memorable missing person in my memory. I thought she was absolutely beautiful and still do.

I had just left graduated that spring. It’s weird how often DD has popped into my head and I’ve wondered about that poor girl. As a father with 2 girls there now, I can barely stand to think about it or the two of them going out down there. We say a lot has changed yet that girl got picked up last year or so in 5 points trying to catch an UBER home. It’s haunting to me. I pray for that family. Why police would do a raid like that and then a judge let him out on 100k bond which I think means he only has to pay 10000 is beyond me....if what he’s accused of is anywhere near what’s being debated on here.

If I’m not mistaken a personal recognizance bond requires no money at all. I thought to why roll in like the A team and then let him walk out the back door.

PR bond means you get to walk without paying. Unfortunately it’s not up to the police to set a bond and I’m sure he has a lot of top level friends
