    Thanks guys the first 2 pictures are of the Same deer..killed him this evening...running a doe. Ran thru my shooting lane after her....got buck fever and missed on my first shot...but he had nothing on his mind but her and ran right back across giving me another shot...the wider 8 on trailer weighed in at 204lb...only my 4th over 200

    That’s surprising about that wide 8 being over 200. I would have pegged him as a younger deer based on his rack being on the thin side. Obviously not. Good work. Heckuva season.

    The wider 8 came off a property that the deer are normally not very thick horned. I rarely have a deer stay from year to year that I can tell.. so I have to judge each year not having hx or pictures from year to year

    Thanks! And yes they are getting skull mounts..My cousin has been trying his hand at skull mounts! We are hopefully gonna be building a house soon when lumber goes down...gotta get that inventory up for the man cave!
