If that’s his happy face then I’d hate to see him mad.

Next time he needs to dangle a cowboy killer and half close the smoke side eye for greater effect.

And congrats on WTBD’ing at that age. Gives me hope.

He could definitely teach all those kids, who mean mug in their pics, how it's done.

    Nice job.

    Nice! Do it Tom!

Old retired dudes in my neighborhood kill the biggest deer on the shortest sits. One goes about twice a week "cause it feels right". I hope I live long enough to retire and do the same. Until then, I'll hunt on full moons and fish on huge tides and try to catch stripers on blue bird days cause that's when I can go.

    Ha! That is so great!

Reminds me of my ol' man one year he was hunting by himself with his Ruger #1 on our lease. He would have been in his early 60's. I was duck hunting almost 2hrs away. I get a call from him late in the morning....

"I'm gonna need some help. I got deer laying all over the place....."
I get there it looks like somebody has slung red paint all over the power line.
"I was walking to the stand and they were down there 'bout 150yds, so I got down and belly crawled to the edge of the drop off and shot the biggest one. They didn't all run off so I kept shooting them till they were gone". Kilt 3 with a single shot .270. Still one of my greatest memories.
I don't need my name in the marquee lights....

I couldn't even come close to knowing what number that deer was but I'm just glad he still has the ability to go. I had been in my stand about 45 minutes and he texts me at 4:30pm asking what stand I'm in. He told me he was gonna go watch an old road bed and sit in his chair. I said you better hurry cause its almost deer30'. He replied with" ah it'll be alright". 5pm he said just sat down, 5:15 I hear a shot but thought it was on the other club. 5:20 he said 10pt down ill see you at the house! I thought it may have been the bigger 10 we had on camera so I told him I'd be right there to help him load it up. Got there and it was that young 10 we had pics of and he said if he would've seen the body better he would have passed but the deer was standing in a thicket checking him out. I told him no need to worry about it cause I would have probably done the same thing, His reply was, Who said I was worried......
