We had a dove shoot at the deer club years ago and green jeans showed up. We had simply bush hogged the corn rows and had plenty of birds and corn on the ground. When the Rabbit Sheriff decided that they had no case on the field itself he walked down a lane that fed into the field that ended at a deer stand about 300yds in the timber. Wound up writing a ticket to me, a non shooting no gun in possession host, for influencing the flight of the dove birds. On the other hand, I have shot doves behind a GW house with bags of Sunflower seeds in the pole barn adjacent to the field, and double handfuls of seed between the rows. I guess its OK to do your field this way when the SCDNR guy, who owned a large Charcoal Briquette business, no names mentioned, is also at the shoot.
