If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Missing you my great friend.
We had a Jack Russell. Dad got it about a week after Mom passed away. He lives on about 8 acres so there was enough room for the dog to get energy out. His name was Champ and he was an awesome dog. Hell on squirrels, snakes, and catfish. Damn I loved that dog.
Jack russell terrors. Video wouldnt load for me

Its a good thing that lab didn't go for the same goose.
I had one that picked up a few ducks for me. She was a bad little dog and killed everything she could get a hold of, snakes, cats, squirrels, birds and raccoons. She was a great dog but got a little irritable in her old age and bit the mail man. The UPS driver said it didn't matter where he went on my road she would terrorize him.
Saw one do work in a dove field. Name was Cooter.
I have seen one pick up many pheasant at tower shoots

That goose better be damn glad he was dead when Gator got to him.
My parents had a jack Russel for 13 years. That was a bad ass little dog but was cool as hell. Not high strung are all except if there was a squirrel in the tree. That thing would get a running start and make it about 8' up the tree trying to run up the side and she would bark at the tree for hours if you didn't kill it. Then she would eat the head and nothing else.
And if you ever fished the Cooper river or Santee cooper lakes and saw a little white dog right on the bow of a red stratos at 60 mph, that was my dad

The black one likes to kill stuff but is lazy as can be, sleeps 20 hours a day. The brown one goes 100 mph 24/7, and will kill a snake or rodent in a heart beat .... and enjoys it.
Anybody remember the guy that fished off a house boat above Lowfalls probably 30-35 years ago? He fished 24/7 while there. He had a little dog that would raise sand when he got a run and wake him up. Think that may have been a jack Russell. He was always anchored above the trestle.
