I am needing a boat blind for an 18ft boat. What is the best blind out, Avery Quick Set? Or something I am missing?

You interested in making your own? It's not terribly hard. Just need some emt a little hardware, some elbow grease and a hand bender.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

I have used an avery for years but I have seen plenty of homemade custom setups that are just as good if not better depending on what you want.

Avery quickset if you are going to buy one. Homemade isn’t a bad way to go either.

Boat blinds stick out like a porno penis. Get you s good cover and get out your boat.

Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL
We've had good success hunting out of the boat. It all depends on where you're hunting and how you brush the blind in. Some people aren't comfortable hunting out of smaller rigs (not me) and like the stability. Some places may be too deep to get out but still have trees to nestle the boat between and still be well-hidden. You just can't throw a blind on and hunt. Gotta make the extra effort.
