As a political party, the Libertarians are entirely dysfunctional and to date, irrelevant. However, Gary Johnson still had the best platform of anyone that ran in the last presidential election even though he lacked any charisma and seemed to have poor judgement. If a competent and situationally aware Libertarian of the Jeffersonian sect were to run for any office, I'd probably give time and money to support them. It likely will not happen, though, since competent people realize that bad processes usually overpower the ability for competent people to make lasting positive change. Our governing institutions are so large and unaccountable to anything but corrupt, powerful special interests, about the only thing you can hope for is that when it burns to the ground, somebody locked some of the founding heirloom seeds in a fireproof safe.

my problem with you is that you think you get to decide the priorities. you get to decide who the shitbag is and when to kill unborn babies. you worry about the commoner like they are all dumb as bricks. I cant follow you because of that ideology you have.

A couple of things-

I know a shitbag when I see one. For example, a shitbag would be the kind of guy that buys a house in a residential subdivision and starts running an auto towing and salvage yard from his .28 acre lot. To me that guy would be a shitbag, to you he's just another fellow Libertarian.

You're comment about me getting to decide who gets to kill unborn babies is way off base and distorting what I actually said. Here is my actual post-
"Personally, I don't believe in abortion but from a practical matter I realize that abortions are a reality of life and as such I'm willing to defer to the individuals right to choose with some limitation. With that said, I find late term abortions and partial birth abortions grossly reprehensible and most definitely should be outlawed."
But if you're okay with any and all abortions including late term or partial birth abortions, why don't you quite being a coward and just come out and say it.

Now this is where you're contradicting yourself for the sake of arguing with me. By your own posts on SCDucks, and there are many of them where you clearly state that you think most people are dumb as bricks. I happen to agree with you to some degree. The difference between you and I is that yes, I do care enough about my fellow man to try and help them. That's why I donate to charities of my choosing and volunteer my time to others.
What do you do willingly and freely to help the less fortunate in your community?

Well, no shit. That's because we believe in two diametrically opposed ideologies. My political ideology is more consistent with not only most Americans but most civilized countries world wide. Your political ideology is grounded on a false belief that all men are good and true therefore we don't need law and regulation. This ideology that you cater to is dangerous to this country, in some ways more so that progressives, socialists and their ANTIFA buddies so no, I'm not drinking your koolaid.
