Well when you are up north and the ducks are as dumb as rocks that is what you get...I also assume that you scouted them pretty good so you where probably on the x.

Haha my shorthair chased down a fawn about two weeks ago could hear the fawn screaming and yelling and my dog barking right on its heels then all went silent. He shows back up with just a small amount of blood on his coat and a look on his face like you will never find it.......

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

The turkey forum is way better than this
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands

Man we had a supporting cast of hundreds back then. Literally every duck hunter aware of the internet was on two websites and one Listserv (which is still going). I could not post a video to Youtube on my own today, much less a sound file back then. I was the ONLY one that had a Mac, which really made it a bitch. Jim James, who owned Carlson Calls (and winner of the Worlds in Stuttgart} was our Judge and he gave me like 4 hours to figure it out or I was done. Some intrepid peeps from California held my hand and we got it.

    The net has changed...

Why would someone ridicule a child for his calling ability? Why not take a kid under your wing and show them the right way? I agree with most the duck blind is not the place to practice but a duck call is a musical instrument, and most couldn't pick up a saxophone and play a note on it. A duck call is no different it takes time and practice. YouTube is full of kazoo players if you're good at it post a video maybe it will help the guy that upsets you become a better caller.
