Almost all corn pile deer are on full alert and will drop at any noise.

the armpit that you have defined is certainly south (ventral) of the ten ring. I can certainly agree that is a good place to hold the pin when shooting a deer from an elevated platform (20ft +/- 5 feet) on a whitetail in SC on a corn pile that you made a stupid noise at to stop at 20yards (+/- 3 yards).

I am completely fine with that. I don’t think you are quite as big of an asshole anymore. We should bowhunt together sometime and compare entry and exit holes when we both dead some shit. Thats passion right there......
