Stone grits. 1/2 chicken stock and 1/2 water. Low and slow with s/p and butter. I usually add a little cream
cheese and/or heavy cream.
I was half serious. That shrimp and grits thread made me wonder when I saw people naming ingredients.
im simple. i just use regular ole whole milk, and regular ole stick butter.
dump the milk, grits, and butter in the pot, salt and pepper, put it on the stove, turn it low, and stir every so often until it gets ready to eat.
hell i even buy my grits at the grocerystore.
