Now that is what I call a corner post.
Glad to see someone else using concrete wire tomato cages...they work damn good and last forever.

planted 5 acres or so of sunflowers and corn. Put up a fence ran wire at 18,36 and 54 inches then ran a fence 3 feet from the main fence at 18 inches high. Plan on putting out milorganite also.
Planted 3 acres 2 years ago had good luck with the fence but johnsongrass overtook the sunflowers.
Plowed and sprayed the field good so im kinda winning the war on johsongrass.
good luck to everyone with the deer issues Keep up the fight lol
No deer problem for me. I did put in irrigation this year.
Worried about volunteer corn and sunflowers. Plowed the corn 3 times but I'm sure I will have to cultivate. Farmer planted roundup ready combined with Liberty genes. I guess that means the sprays won't work on the volunteer.
Either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.
Fence is up and hot, as of Saturday. 7000v according to the tester. I sure hope it does the trick.
We put out Plot Saver last year on a single strand of their fabric ribbon. We had a decent success. This year we have put up 3 strands staggered and will put the Plot Saver juice on the top strand. I will post how this goes.
The down side is we have to spray the ribbon every 10-14 days. More if there is rain. It is easy to put up once the posts are in place.
It's not enough to simply tolerate the 2nd Amendment as an antiquated inconvenience. Caring for the 2nd Amendment means fighting to restore long lost rights.
Need a rain to be sure, but can't pick out any new tracks in the sand. Flowers are doing well.
Well, came home yesterday, took a lap around fence, and had 3 Deers in the field.
Got 2 strands round my flowers and section of corn. Ain't had. Deer one in it. Flowers already bout 6 inches tall. Corn about 1 1/2 foot. Looking goochi!!!!! I check it every day and piss along diffent section of the fense. Give also got a few sticks with flagging tap the flaps in the wind and sticks with beer cans on them stuck up here and there. I move them around bout twice a week so the deer see something new when they come check it out.

I am on 18" rows. I could cultivate, but would lose every other row. I can't seem to find anything in all the reading I've done, either.
nothing post emerge on sesame.
i would cultivate and spot spray and use them boys for hand weeding....

I just rode around mine. The flowers and corn looks really good for the most part. I do have a low spot in the corn ( 1/4 acre) that is holding about 6 ins of standing water. Other than that. I should be good. They are calling for more rain on Monday or Tuesday. I need a couple of days to dry out, I hope that gets pushed back.
I was thinking you could spray Cleth on benne?
