What's your favorite wild turkey dish? I usually just make fried turkey nuggets out of mine. It's simple and everyone eats them.

Similar. Turkey fingers. Egg, milk and Dijon mustard mix, followed by flour with paprika, salt, pepper, and a few other spices, and then dipped in bread crumbs. Fire up the canola or peanut oil and everyone crushes them.

Yes. The picture I posted above is just regular nuggets.
But the best I've ever had, we ran through a cuber and then marinated in pickle juice and fried.
Fried nuggets are hard to beat. Pickle brining is tasty. I usually let mine soak in some Crystal hot sauce and coat with Adluh seafood breader.
Turkey pot pie is always good. I also like to make shish kabobs. Normally only use Cavender's or the Greek seasoning from OldeTown restaurant in Charleston. It's good stuff. Veggies of choice and grill.

First of year each season I'll pluck. Leave whole brine and smoke on the Egg. Have a good meal off it then make the rest into turkey salad.

I find it interesting that most turkey hunters like to fry up nuggets.
I dont. I'll make a turkey pot pie, Scwatty's turkey rolls, turkey parm, etc.
Frying a turkey is good but not the only way, by any stretch.
And those of you just breasting a bird should get a ticket for wanton waste. There's a lot of dark meat on that bird you are wasting....
