Default Will you keep feeding same protein level after season

My Yellow Lab doesn't get enough exercise to burn the 30/20 Pro Plan formula and packs on the pounds after the season. He stays heavy even at 1 1/2 cups a day any suggestions so he is not underfed but still can keep him at a healthy weight?

3/4 kibble 3/4 green beans. Should trim off the unwanted weight fine.

Ditto, but used canned green beans, cut to 1" or less in length (which canned beans are).

Once he gets to your target weight, I'd look at a lower protein food until you start working him again. But, numerous guys here can give you better specifics than I since I don't have a hunting or competition dog right now.

Yep. I agree with this statement. Pro Plan makes one that will be similar that is not 30/20 that I would recommend feeding in the off season. Out of curiosity how much are you paying for the 30/20?

I've been told by several that I need to be feeding my dog a bacon egg and cheese biscuit every morning since he is so thin.
He's on 30/20 pro plan and is lean muscle.

Make sure you use "unsalted" green beans.
